How to delete Instagram search history?

The search history on Instagram displays recently searched users and tags. This is mostly a useful feature as it saves time and shows relevant results. For private reasons, some users do not want to make Instagram search engine suggest recently visited profiles. You can delete individual results manually, but this is a time-consuming solution.

To fully delete Instagram browsing history:

1. Go to your account and click the hamburger menu.
2. From the available options, select Search history.
3. In the upper-right corner of the screen, click the blue Delete all button.

By systematically deleting your Instagram search history, you protect your privacy, but you need to spend more time finding the profile again.
